OPENING MY NEW STRAIGHTENER

12:23 PM

This isn't really a review, I just took pictures of what my straightener came with and how the model is and everything. After I use it, I'll include pics and everything!

So basically, it came in the amazon packaging with bubble wrap and air puffs all around the HSI box. The packaging is very aesthetically pleasing to my eyes as it gives off a professional feel.

The box isn't the open and lift kind, but the push and pull. If you don't plan to keep it in the box, it's not really a big deal, but if you do, it's a bit annoying pulling it back and in for me.

It came with one hair glove, and like the description said, with the free argan oil. I haven't tried it yet sadly :( Mainly because I'm confused to what to do with it.

It also comes with a fluffy pouch, which if I was traveling I wouldn't have to worry about it since it's very thick and plumfy. (is that a word lmao)

There's not really anything to go in depth with this straightener by the looks of it. I haven't really read anything, but the dot above the O in professional turns green from red when done heating up from what I've seen.

So inside the straightener, there are the on and off buttons and temperature buttons. I've tried it out kind of 2 times, and tried to curl my hair and I'm pretty sure I'm doing something wrong. I don't think it's hot enough for me even though I set it to the middle. I don't know,... I'm scared HAHA..

So basically, I haven't tried anything really in depth yet. I've played around with it for a few minutes but then put it down after I had to complete my studying.. The main reason I bought this was, I'm planning to cut my hair into a short bob and I can't style my hair with a blow dryer. (too complicated for me..) I bought this, it was affordable (40 dollars) I split 50/50 with my sister but she regrets it because she said she's not even going to use it as much as I am. >:( whatever ur loss yunie

I'm also planning to dye my hair once again! I tried self dying for the first time around Jan/Feb to cover up my previous dye done professionally (horrible roots..) But honestly, it didn't work out too well. I think the dye I got professionally done was too strong so now it's just a weird combo of streaks of brown and black. But this time, hopefully, my mom will help me ...invest... HAHAH.
